• Are fee waivers available as any part of this process?

  Application fee waivers are available for families with need. Please contact admissions@cedarrivermontessori.org for more information.

• My student is currently in your admissions wait pool. Will we have to reapply next year?

  Because students continue to grow and develop each year, it is important that a new application and supporting materials are submitted each year. We will also schedule a new parent interview and student meeting or visit day. The re-application fee is waived for students in our admissions wait pool.

• My student is currently enrolled in another Montessori school. Is that status considered during admissions?

  “Montessori-transfer” status is considered during admissions, particularly if Montessori pedagogy has been a demonstrated good fit for the student. We always enjoy hearing from families who are interested in continuing their Montessori education!

• How do I apply?

  Begin by submitting an admissions inquiry and scheduling a tour and/or reserving your space at our Open House in January.

• What is the cost to apply?

  There is a $100 non-refundable application fee paid with your application.

• How do I add my student to your waitlist?

  Cedar River Montessori does not have an admissions waitlist. Instead, we have an admissions wait pool for students who have completed our admissions process and are waiting for a space.

• Do siblings have preference during admissions?

  Sibling status is considered, but siblings are not automatically admitted, as it is important that our school be a good fit for each individual child.
