Location

The CRMS campus is a 12-acre farm nestled between the Cedar River and the Renton highlands. The surrounding flora and fauna provide the sense of a natural protected oasis perfect for learning and growing, yet we are convenient to Renton, Issaquah, Maple Valley and other nearby communities. We have two school buildings, a playground with a creek, pasture, natural wetlands and, of course, we are right across from the Cedar River itself.

Classrooms

Our newly-remodeled main building is a converted home with multiple classrooms and our administrative offices. The first floor of the main building houses an Early Childhood class, two Lower Elementary classes, and our Upper Elementary class. Administrative offices are also located on the first floor, immediately to the left when you enter the front door. The second floor of the main building is home to our Middle School. Our second building, designed specifically for our Early Childhood program, has two classrooms that feature big open spaces and large windows placed low enough for smaller students to view the world.

Garden

We have a wonderful Children’s Garden developed by our incredible parents in which children plant the starts they grow from seed, tend to the fruits and vegetables, and enrich the soil with compost made from the scraps of their own lunches.

Pool

We open the pool in late spring and keep it open through the early fall. Weather permitting, we provide some swim lessons during the regular school year for elementary students and swim opportunities in our after-care program. Our summer program features a daily swim lesson for each child that is taught by a certified swim instructor. Our pool is central to some of the best memories of many of our alumni.
